Initially dealing with James, I was provided with a detailed history file on the Porsche Cayenne enquired about and I felt reassured that the car was of excellent quality and good provenance. It's nice to be reassured that when spending a lot of money, a dealer is able to provide a very detailed video of the car and walk through of its features, service history etc. The car was delivered to my home last week on a trailer by John who was pleasant. I cannot express enough my recommendation for Hitchfields. Fab service!

We recently purchased a vehicle from Hitchfields over the past couple of weeks, and I can't recommend them enough. The sale was made easy, without pressure and the car condition was particularly impressive for a dealership (being a detailer, I regularly see poor vehicle prep & handover quality by dealer). Upon initial inspection, there was a mark on the front quarter bumper, which was already booked for a respray, and a couple of gashes on the windscreen, which with no hesitation, was replaced. I also had one request, that I could transfer my aftermarket wheels from my last Mercedes C300 to this one (not in picture), and again, not a problem at all. The team couldn't have been more helpful. A big thanks to Jimmy, James & the team and see you in a couple of years for the next one!

This is going to be the most honest review I can leave for true representation of this company.

I was involved in a car crash that was no fault of my own, resulting in my two month old car being written off- this was fresh so I was very emotional and resentful to finding a new car.

I found a car I liked and called to view, Neil was very open and honest about the condition of the car prior to us travelling to view it. We viewed it and it was in amazing condition. I took the car for a test drive (whilst very nervous to be back on the road), Neil was like my therapist! Later- still a bit sour about the differences between this car and my previous car- I told Neil that I had only just had the cambelt replaced on my old car and the fuel tank was full (I know, minor issues compared to the reality). Neil then informed me he would be replacing the cambelt and filling the tank with fuel prior to collection- emotional me burst into tears! What a hero!

I purchased this car (on a weekend), two days before my courtesy car was being collected.. the following day I had a call to state my car was ready.. very fast we thought.. a little suspicious.. have they done the work or were we being fobbed off.. we read a few negative reviews which made us worry more...

Collection day- the car is in absolutely PERFECT condition, alloys were completely refurbished, the cambelt was replaced, new tyres, everything as promised and more! I can't emphasise how much we doubted this company due to previous bad experiences elsewhere, and how much they exceeded our expectations! Hitchfield are absolutely incredible as are the staff Neil and Jo. Completely recommend and absolutely worth the hour long drive. This has completely changed my perspective on car shopping and I truly value their patience, honesty and kindness. This review doesn't not so these guys justice! Thank you so much!

Sam the lovely chap, has been very fast and speedy to get me going in my favourite car right the way through. Can't fault the passion but I did feel that there was a slight rush in the process in terms of being pressed for time. Went for the optional warranty for 3 years along with the car so I hope his services continue to be as fast and reliable. Here is where I will really see the service as providing peace of mind is crucial. I will keep the reviews posted with how this company and warranty company cohesively work towards any problems that may rise, if any at all. I'm hoping more for 0 problems, fingers crossed. That will say a lot about this company itself.

Very pleased with the service here. Great stock of cars and all well presented. I knew exactly what I wanted, called up to view and went down the same day. As it wasn't local I called first to confirm the vehicle was still available and was told I hadn't reached the sales team and someone would call me back. They didn't, but when I called back and hour or so later I was able to arrange to view the car immediately. The car was ready in the viewing area and presented brilliantly. Dealt with sales man Neil from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable and very easy to ask questions replied fairly promptly. I brought to BMW x4m competition I lived over 4hrs away so couldn't go to see it in person but Neil videoed the car pointed out any cosmetic damage literally down to stone chips. I arranged with him our deal and I did a part ex on my own vehicle again via some photos then of course it got checked when I arrived to collect but there was no trying to haggle any prices down.
Would absolutely buy another car from this company better than the main dealers.

Recently purchased my 2005 Mini Cooper s from Hitchfields. I was looking to downsize from a BMW and wanted a little run around that matched the power. Every time I jump in this car and listen to the supercharger whine it puts a smile on my face. Would definitely recommend an r53 to anyone looking for a fun little car. Having owned the newer shape f56 mini I can say the r53 is hands down the better car to drive. Had an issue no issues so far and the 24 month warranty is a great add on.
